Who is Termolab?
Termolab Isı Sayacı Muayene Enerji Sistemleri A.Ş. is a heat meter (calorimeter) inspection body based in Ankara. As a Type C inspection body authorized by Türkiye's Ministry of Industry and Technology and accredited by TÜRKAK (the Turkish Accreditation Agency) under TS EN ISO/IEC 17020 (AB-0606-M), it carries out periodic, initial, complaint and stock inspections of heat meters, along with repair, maintenance, battery replacement and sealing. The inspection diameter range is DN15–DN40.

The need — prove trust, simplify the request
In inspection work, the customer's first question is "is this body authorized?" A building manager, property management company or installer wants to see the accreditation, the authorization certificate and the staff certificates of the body they'll hand their meter over to. The second question is "how do I apply?"
So the site had two core jobs: present accreditation not as an abstract claim but as a fact backed by downloadable documents, and collect inspection requests without anyone needing to pick up the phone.
What's on the site?
- Home page: the Ministry authorization and TÜRKAK accreditation on the first screen, and right below, four boxes showing the accreditation number, standard, diameter range and year of accreditation.
- Company and Accreditation: the principle of independence and impartiality, the scope of accreditation.
- Services: periodic, initial, complaint and stock inspection; repair, maintenance, battery replacement; removal and installation.
- Inspection process: a "from request to seal in five steps" walkthrough.
- Our documents: the TÜRKAK certificate, authorization certificate, trademark registration, staff authorization certificates, appeals and complaints form, procedures and the KVKK (Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law) privacy notice; all downloadable as PDFs.
- Regulations: a page compiling the regulations and rules that apply to heat meters.
- Smart inspection request wizard, FAQ and contact form.
Key solutions
Step-by-step inspection request
The wizard on the home page asks visitors, in order, which service they need, their meter details, who the requester is and the location, and their contact preference; at the last step it summarizes the request and asks for confirmation. Asking small questions instead of presenting a long form keeps visitors — especially those on a phone — from abandoning the form halfway.
Trust built on documents
The accreditation number doesn't just appear in the text; the certificate itself can be downloaded. Staff authorization certificates and the complaints procedure are also open. This provides transparency both for customers and from an audit perspective.
Meaningful data for search engines and AI
The home page carries a rich structured data set: Organization, Service, OfferCatalog, EducationalOccupationalCredential (the accreditation certificate) and FAQPage. So search engines can read, in machine language, what Termolab does, which services it offers and which certificate it holds. The site also has an llms.txt file for AI tools. The title tag and meta description directly match the search intent for "heat meter inspection."
Speed and simplicity
Instead of an off-the-shelf theme or a heavy content management system, the site is made of lightweight, custom-written pages. The server response is very short, and pages open fast.

What we learned from this project
- In regulated businesses, trust is built with documents. Making the certificate downloadable is far more convincing than saying "we're a trustworthy body."
- Questions that feel like a conversation, not a form. The request wizard is easier to complete than long forms.
- A regulations page is an SEO asset. Gathering the regulatory information the industry searches for most in one place helps customers and increases search visibility.
- Keeping it current matters. When staff change, the documents and the site need to be updated together; that's why maintenance is part of the project.
