Haustech Shop — a store that helps you pick the right technical product.

In a store selling Siemens HVAC control products, the real job isn't adding to cart — it's helping buyers choose the right product. We built Haustech Shop on IMFLEXI around that need.

What is Haustech Shop?

Haustech Shop is the online HVAC products store of Ankara-based Haustech Mekanik İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. It sells Siemens control and balancing valves, valve and damper motors (actuators), room and fan coil thermostats, sensors and underfloor heating products. The store is live at shop.haustech.com.tr; we cover the company's corporate website separately on the Haustech case study page.

The store runs on IMFLEXI, Globya's boutique e-commerce platform.

The need — the right valve, the right motor

Choosing a control valve means looking at values such as nominal diameter (DN), pressure class (PN), flow coefficient (kvs) and connection type. The motor mounted on the valve also has to be compatible with it. A wrong choice means returns and lost time on site. And a large share of customers aren't end users; they're installers, dealers and engineers. They expect bulk orders, project pricing and a current account.

So the store had two jobs: make technical selection easier and serve individual buyers and professional buyers separately on the same platform.

What's on the site?

  • Category structure: control valves (2- and 3-way threaded and flanged bodies, combined balancing valves), actuators, underfloor heating (manifolds, manifold cabinets, pipes, accessories), thermostats (room, fan coil, Siemens Connected Home), damper motors and sensors. Each category is listed with its product count.
  • Search by technical value: the search box accepts technical values such as "DN25 PN16 kvs 5."
  • Compatibility tool: a separate page for finding products that fit the device you already have.
  • Product pages: a technical specifications table, technical documents (datasheets), a "which products does this work with?" section, installment options, reviews, frequently bought together and alternatives from the same category.
  • Dealer application and dealer panel: for bulk orders, project-based quotes and current account transactions.
  • Corporate and bulk sales, technical newsletter subscription, FAQ, returns and delivery pages.
  • On the payment side, cards with Visa, Mastercard, Troy and 3D Secure, plus bank transfer (wire/EFT) notification.

Key solutions

Compatibility logic on the product page

On an actuator page, the valve bodies that motor can be mounted on are listed directly. Buyers don't have to research two products separately, and the risk of a wrong match goes down.

Product data for search engines

Product pages carry detailed Product schema: brand, technical specifications (PropertyValue), price and stock (Offer), shipping time and cost (OfferShippingDetails), return policy (MerchantReturnPolicy) and breadcrumbs (BreadcrumbList). This helps Google show products in rich results with price and stock information. Site search (SearchAction) is also defined on the home page. The sitemap contains 250 URLs (September 2026), and there's an llms.txt file for AI tools.

B2B and B2C on the same platform

Thanks to IMFLEXI's hybrid structure, an individual buyer can pay by card and complete an order, while an approved dealer can log in to their own panel and shop on their own terms.

Trust signals

The top strip shows authorized distributorship, genuine products and a technical support line; category entries show model and stock counts; the footer carries the company's legal name and address. Cookie preferences are split into essential and analytics.

What we learned from this project

  • In a store selling technical products, guidance is the sale itself. Compatibility information and datasheets also lighten the customer service load.
  • Serve professional buyers separately. A dealer application and panel move the B2B customer's habit of ordering by phone into a digital channel.
  • The corporate website and the store should feed each other. At Haustech, the two sites are tied together with deep links.

For a similar store, take a look at our e-commerce, B2B dealer portal and integration services, and at the IMFLEXI page for the platform. Industry needs: mechanical and HVAC.

Which platform does Haustech Shop use?

IMFLEXI, Globya's boutique e-commerce platform. The same platform also powers stores in very different industries, such as Jedbang and Bilendenal.

Is there a separate flow for dealers?

Yes. Dealers submit an application, and once approved they can log in to their own panel to handle bulk orders and project-based quotes.

How can wrong orders for technical products be reduced?

By showing compatible products on the product page, allowing search by technical values and making datasheets downloadable.
