What is TIECHO?
TIECHO is a web experience that describes itself as "a tool for symbolic reflection and self-awareness." It opens with a single question for the visitor: "What do you think the stars in the sky looked like when you were born?" Given a date, time and place of birth, it calculates and displays the sky at that minute. In the site's own words: "We don't read it for you — we let you read it."
TIECHO is a personal project developed by the Globya team. You can enter at tiecho.com; some sections open by invitation.
Starting point
Sites built around the sky and the moment of birth mostly serve ready-made interpretations and predictions. TIECHO tries a different path: a real astronomical calculation, a fixed dictionary of symbols and the user's own data. Ask the same question twice and you get the same answer. For us, the project is a testing ground for interface design that creates atmosphere, along with sound and interaction.
What's on the site?
- Threshold screen: a welcome that says "This place isn't open to everyone" on entry and sets the tone of the experience.
- Birth Moment: a page showing the sky and weather at the moment of birth, and its "echoes" from that day to today.
- Sky calendar: upcoming notable sky events on a ring you can rotate.
- Gates: Star Map, Echo of the Day (compares your birth moment with the day's sky every morning), Dream Journal (it doesn't interpret dreams, it counts them), Moon Cycle and Path Cards. The gates open one after another.
- Stories: open content you can read without any calculation.
- Sound: not a recording, but a sound stream composed in the moment.
- Keepsake: a time capsule where you leave a text, a sixty-second voice clip or a single photo and choose when it opens (a year from now, at the next full moon, on your birthday).
- Entry: directly with an invitation code, or through a waiting list you move up by sharing.
Key solutions
Atmosphere is the design
A dark background, gold accents, slowly revealed text and a draggable star map — the site is designed like a place, not an information page. The sound bar in the footer offers a live sound experience that starts when you touch it.
Consistent results
The daily content changes at a fixed time every day and doesn't come out differently within the same day. This makes users feel that the structure is based on calculation, not chance.
Content seal
Content left in the Keepsake section is sealed with a cryptographic signature (HMAC-SHA256) and a timestamp to prove it hasn't been changed later. It may look like a small feature, but it assures users that "what you left stays exactly as it is."
Clear disclaimer
The site states plainly that the texts it generates are cultural and symbolic interpretations, not scientific predictions or statements about the future, and that they are not advice on health, legal or financial matters. An 18+ age limit applies, and the site notes that uploaded images are deleted after processing.

What we learned from this project
- Tone is set on the first screen. The threshold screen tells users what kind of place they're entering in a single sentence.
- A closed experience sparks curiosity. An invitation and waiting-list mechanism is one way to grow a community in a controlled way early on.
- Draw a clear line in sensitive areas. Stating the difference between symbolic content and advice openly protects the user.
We also bring the interactive interface and atmosphere design experience from this project to brand websites and campaign pages. Related services: corporate website, custom software, KVKK compliance. Other personal projects: Fly4cast and Mutfaksim.
Is TIECHO a fortune-telling or prediction site?
No. The site clearly states that the texts it generates are symbolic interpretations and are not statements about the future or advice.
Why is it invitation-only?
So the experience can grow with a controlled community. People without an invitation code can join the waiting list and move up it by sharing.
Can you build an interactive experience page for our brand?
Yes. We design interactive pages for campaigns or brand stories; you can tell us what you need on our contact page.
