What is digital IT consulting?
A company has an accountant for its finances and a lawyer for its legal matters. These people are by your side for every decision; they know you and know what is right for you. Digital work, however, has no owner at most companies: the website is in one place, email in another, software with yet another company, and reports are nobody's full responsibility.
Digital IT consulting is the service that fills this gap. Your consultant sees your company's digital assets as a whole; they know what is working well, what is risky and what the next step should be. The decision stays with you, but when you make it, you have clear and accurate information in hand.
What sets Globya apart is that we don't stop at advice. We carry out the work we recommend with our own team, deliver it professionally and keep it running afterward. In other words, we are the ones who draw the roadmap and the ones who walk that road with you.
What does it cover?
Digital IT consulting covers almost everything a company does that involves the internet and software. The main areas are:
| Area | What we do as your consultant |
|---|---|
| Website | We assess your current site, rebuild it when needed, and keep it up to date and fast |
| E-commerce and B2B | We choose and set up the right platform, and connect marketplace and dealer channels |
| Software | Where off-the-shelf software falls short, we develop custom solutions for your company |
| Integration | We get your ERP, e-invoice, payment, shipping and CRM systems talking to each other |
| Data and reporting | We turn the numbers in your ERP into reports management can actually use |
| Visibility | We make sure you appear accurately and prominently in Google and AI assistants |
| Infrastructure | We manage hosting, backups, security and business email |
| Compliance | We build regulatory requirements, starting with KVKK (Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law), into the work itself |
You can also buy each of these areas as a separate service; details are on the services page. The real value of consulting, however, comes from planning these pieces with each one in mind of the others.
Who is it for?
Digital IT consulting makes particular sense for these companies:
- Companies with no IT team, or a small one. Businesses that don't have the staff to run their digital work but know how much it matters.
- Companies worn out by multiple vendors. Those tired of dealing with separate firms for the website, hosting, software and advertising, and of the confusion over who is responsible for what.
- Companies in a growth phase. Businesses moving into e-commerce, building a dealer network or preparing to sell abroad.
- Companies that can't use their own data. Those with years of data in their ERP who still can't get to the right report. You may also want to look at our ERP reporting service.
- Companies uneasy about regulation. Businesses asking themselves, "Are we missing something?" when it comes to KVKK and similar obligations.

How does it work?
A consulting relationship usually unfolds in this order:
- Introduction: We have a short phone call. We listen to your company, your goals and the issue that wears you down most.
- Preliminary analysis: We review your website, your digital visibility and the systems that are publicly visible, and prepare a plain-language report just for you. This step is free; details are on the free preliminary analysis page.
- Roadmap and proposal: We present a roadmap ordered by priority, along with a written proposal that makes the scope, timeline and deliverables clear.
- Implementation: We carry out the agreed work with interim deliveries. Once the work begins, we hold online meetings as needed.
- Continuity: After launch, we monitor your systems, keep them up to date and become your first call whenever a new need arises.
The steps are described in detail on our how we work page.
What should you expect from a consultant?
What you should expect from a good digital IT consultant is also the standard we hold ourselves to:
- Plain language: Explaining technical topics in a way you can follow.
- Honesty: Not recommending things you don't need, and being willing to say when a job isn't necessary.
- Prioritization: Putting the step that delivers the most benefit first, instead of trying to do everything at once.
- Accountability: Carrying out and delivering the recommended work, and standing behind it.
- Continuity: Building a relationship that spans years, not a one-off engagement.
What is the difference between digital IT consulting and an agency service?
An agency usually builds and hands over a specific deliverable, such as a website. A digital IT consultant sees all of a company's digital work as a whole, then prioritizes it, carries it out and keeps it running.
Do I have to sign a contract for consulting?
No. The first conversation and the preliminary analysis are free and carry no obligation. After that, we prepare a written proposal only for the work you actually need.
We have our own IT team. Would this still be useful?
Yes. We don't take over your IT team's day-to-day work; we work alongside them in specialized areas such as web, e-commerce, integration and visibility.
Is remote consulting really enough?
Yes. The first conversation takes place by phone, and once the work begins, we hold online meetings as needed. This is how we work with companies all over Türkiye.
