Who is Göztepe Depo?
Göztepe Depo is the room-based self storage brand of Göztepe Nakliyat, in business since 1978. Belongings are kept not in a shared warehouse but in a locked room of the customer's own, from 6.5 m³ to 100 m³. It runs five facilities on both sides of Istanbul (three in Maltepe, one in Sancaktepe, one in Küçükçekmece), with more than 72,000 m³ of total capacity and over 40,000 customers.
You can explore the site at goztepedepo.com.
What's on the site?
- Facility network: an interactive map of the five facilities, each with address, main use and an "ask on WhatsApp" link.
- Volume explainer: opens with "You know your home is a 3+1. How many m³ are your belongings?" and, as you scroll, shows the furniture settling into a room.
- Find My Room: a wizard that asks what you're storing and how big your home is, then shows an estimated room range; the result goes to the team on WhatsApp.
- Trust section: inventory list, keys, 24/7 security, humidity and pest control, fire safety, All Risk insurance.
- Use cases: urban renewal, renovation, long trips, freeing up space at home, archives and stock.
- Customer reviews: taken from Google, with the year shown.
- District pages: a separate page for 29 neighborhoods from Bostancı to Bahçeşehir, plus Asian side and European side pages.
- Topic pages: what room storage is, urban renewal storage, how pricing works; each with its own FAQ.
Highlights
Cubic meters, not square meters
Most people looking for storage know their home's floor area, not the volume of their belongings, so they rent a room that's too big or can't compare prices. The site puts this gap at the center of the home page: it shows that a 3+1 home's contents take about 32 m³ when stacked properly, then lets visitors estimate their own range with "Find My Room."
A short path to a survey
The wizard's result is presented as an estimated range, not a firm allocation, and goes to the team with one tap on WhatsApp. Visitors can share photos in the same chat, and the team schedules a free survey the same day.
From WordPress to a custom platform
Göztepe Depo's site also used to run on WordPress. We built the interactive parts, such as the map, the room wizard and the volume explainer, in the site's own code rather than with a stack of plugins. Old WordPress URLs were 301-redirected to the new pages, keeping search visibility and inbound links. The storage and moving sites now share one platform and design language, so an improvement made to one carries over to the other.
Searchable by neighborhood
Storage is a local search. The 29 district pages and two side-of-the-city pages explain the nearest facility and moving plan for searches like "Kozyatağı storage" or "Ataköy storage." The facilities are introduced to search engines with SelfStorage schema.

What does the Göztepe Depo website cover?
What room-based storage is, where the five facilities are, room sizes, security and insurance, use cases such as urban renewal and renovation, how pricing is set, and service information by Istanbul neighborhood.
Why do district pages matter for a storage website?
People look for storage close to their home or workplace. To show up in neighborhood searches, a separate page explaining each area's nearest facility and moving option works better than a single general page.
