Who is Haustech?
Haustech Mekanik İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. is a mechanical contracting and HVAC product supply company based in Çankaya, Ankara. It handles heating, cooling and ventilation, boiler rooms, pumps and hydronic systems, mechanical automation, retrofits and commissioning. The company is also a Siemens Building Technologies Approved Partner, supplying Siemens control valves, actuators, thermostats and sensors.
You can visit the corporate website at haustech.com.tr and the online store at shop.haustech.com.tr. We also review the store separately on the Haustech Shop case study page.
The need — welcoming two different customers through the same door
Some visitors to Haustech are looking for a project (a new building, a boiler room upgrade, automation); others just want a product (a valve, an actuator, a thermostat). Before, these two needs were disconnected. The new site's job was to ask visitors on the very first screen, "new project, retrofit, or just a product?" and send them to the right place: a site survey request for projects, or straight to the relevant store category for products.
Because the company also works with overseas suppliers and foreign investor projects, the site had to be live in English and German too, as real pages that search engines can find.
What's on the site?
- Home page: a four-slide intro (engineering, turnkey contracting, the Siemens partnership, retrofits), a "one company, integrated solution" section, six points on what sets the company apart, and industries.
- Services: mechanical contracting, heating systems, cooling and ventilation, boiler rooms and heating centers, pumps and hydronics, mechanical automation, retrofit and modernization, commissioning and technical support; each on its own page.
- Siemens: HVAC control products, control valves and actuators, sensors and thermostats, damper motors, building and smart home automation.
- Industries, Company, FAQ and Contact pages; every page carries "Free site survey request" and "Get a quote" calls to action.
- A Haustech Shop button that's always visible in the top menu.
Key solutions
Three languages, real URLs
The Turkish, English and German versions are live on separate URLs such as /en/ and /de/, linked to each other with hreflang tags. The language switcher isn't just a button that translates text; it takes the visitor to the real page in that language. That way the English and German pages can be found in search engines on their own. The sitemap lists 69 URLs across the three languages (September 2026).
A bridge between the corporate website and the store
The Siemens product pages and the FAQ link deep into the relevant store categories. The FAQ spells out the distinction: for stocked, standard products the fastest route is the store; for project-based, multi-item lists it's a quote request.
Rich structured data
The home page combines Organization details (address, coordinates, contact point) with Service, OnlineStore, WebSite and FAQPage schema. It also states in machine-readable form that the store is an online store owned by the company. The site has an llms.txt file for AI tools.
Original design
The site wasn't built from an off-the-shelf theme but designed from scratch: a light background, a dark, technical hero area, a grid reminiscent of engineering drawings and fine details. Brands without logo usage permission are referenced by typography instead of logos; the official partnership wording is used only for Siemens.

What we learned from this project
- Separate project customers from product customers, but don't cut them off from each other. Opening two paths under the same brand gives a stronger result than building two separate sites.
- A multilingual site should be built on real URLs. Solutions that only translate in the browser don't bring search visibility.
- Describe brand partnerships accurately. Official partnership wording and logo use should be reserved for brands that have given permission.

Turkish, English and German; each language lives on its own URLs and can be found separately in search engines.
How do the corporate website and the e-commerce site work together?
Product headings on the corporate website link to the relevant categories in the store, while project and quote needs are handled on the corporate website through a site survey request.
