A company that moves freight on time should move information on time too.

Logistics customers want two things — a fast quote and to know where their cargo is. We turn the websites of logistics and transportation companies into tools that answer both questions on their own.

In logistics, the service itself is invisible; the customer doesn't see the truck, the warehouse or the ship, only the result. That's why a logistics company website has to make an abstract service concrete: which routes, which vehicle types, which cargo types, what transit times. For businesses with customers abroad — freight forwarding, customs brokerage or ship agency — multilingual communication is added on top. Globya works as the digital IT consultant for businesses in this field as well.

Typical digital problems in logistics and transportation

  • Unclear scope of service. "All kinds of transportation" tells the customer nothing. LTL or FTL? Refrigerated trucks? Which countries do you serve?
  • A slow quoting process. The customer fills out a form, but because cargo details are missing, several emails go back and forth.
  • Tracking information lives on the phone. "Where's my shipment?" is the question the operations team answers dozens of times a day.
  • No content for foreign customers. A buyer or shipowner abroad can't find service details on a Turkish-only website.
  • Operations run 24/7, the website keeps office hours. There's no stated channel for urgent requests.

Logistics searches are made by route, cargo type and type of service:

  • "LTL freight to Germany"
  • "refrigerated freight company"
  • "customs broker Ankara"
  • "bonded warehouse storage service"
  • "ship agency tekirdağ port" or "bosphorus transit agency"
  • "project cargo heavy lift transport"

Route- and service-based pages, especially with English content, make the difference in searches from abroad. AI assistants are asked questions like "which agencies operate at the port of Tekirdağ?"; to be included in those answers, company information needs to be structured and consistent. We handle this through our SEO and GEO service.

What a logistics website needs

  • Separate pages by type of service — road, sea, air, warehousing, customs, project cargo
  • Route- or port-based pages
  • Fleet and equipment information (type, capacity, features)
  • A smart quote form that collects cargo details step by step — origin/destination, weight, volume, cargo type, date
  • A shipment tracking screen or a customer-specific tracking link
  • 24/7 operations contact details, with the emergency line shown separately
  • Authorization certificates, memberships and insurance details (for those you hold)
  • At least English, plus additional languages depending on your customer base

How Globya's services fit

Corporate website: A multilingual structure, service and route pages, and a smart quote form. Ready within the first 10 days; your current site stays live during that time and your email keeps working without interruption.

Custom software: Company-specific systems such as a customer portal, shipment tracking screen, operations dashboard, and trip and document tracking.

Integration: Data exchange with vehicle tracking systems, accounting software or customer systems, so tracking information reaches the customer without anyone typing it in.

Mobile app: Delivery photos, signatures and status updates for drivers and field teams.

Business email: Reliable email infrastructure that doesn't land in spam folders for international correspondence. In shipping and international transport, email is still the main business channel.

For the owners of the cargo you carry, take a look at our manufacturing and industry and wholesale and B2B distribution pages as well.

A note on KVKK

The name, address and phone number of the sender and recipient are personal data, and so is drivers' location information. When setting up a tracking screen, only authorized people should be able to see their own shipments, the retention period for location data should be defined, and if data is transferred abroad, the cross-border transfer rules of KVKK (Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law) must be observed. In every project Globya delivers, KVKK requirements are fully covered at no extra charge.

Where to start?

First, put the routes, ports or regions you serve and the cargo types you carry into a table. Then work out with your operations team which details are absolutely necessary from the customer for a quote; the smart quote form is built from this list. Finally, check which languages your customers correspond in.

If your operations run 24/7, you also need to decide up front how the emergency contact details will be shown. Once these steps are clear, the structure of the site falls into place naturally.

Frequently asked questions

Does shipment tracking require a big software investment?

Not always. At the start, a simple screen where the operations team updates the status and a tracking link sent to the customer can be enough. As needs grow, integration with vehicle tracking systems is added.

Will our current email be affected during the new website launch?

No. The website switch is planned without touching your email records; email on your domain keeps working without interruption.

Which languages should we add?

We decide based on where your customers and business partners are. English is usually the first step, and translations are prepared using the right industry terminology.

How is pricing determined?

We send a written proposal after hearing the scope. Call +90 850 432 55 13 or use the contact page.
