Integration · Payments

Let your iyzico collections tie into orders and accounting on their own.

The checkout page may already work; the real question is whether the collection matches the order, the refund matches accounting and the amount paid out matches the bank record. We build the iyzico integration with that end-to-end picture in mind.

What is iyzico and who uses it?

iyzico is a licensed payment institution operating in Türkiye. It lets businesses take online payments by credit card, debit card and alternative methods without signing a separate virtual POS (payment gateway) contract with each bank. Because onboarding is relatively quick, it is popular with new e-commerce sites, small and mid-sized businesses and subscription sellers. It also gives buyers a fast checkout option with an iyzico account.

An iyzico integration uses iyzico's developer interfaces to connect the payment page to your site, the payment result to the order, and collections and refunds to your ERP.

The most common problems in payment integrations are orders not being confirmed even though payment was received, the same order being charged twice, and refunds reaching accounting late. All of these can be prevented technically. We set things up to close off these risks from the start and test every scenario in a test environment before going live.

Typical scenarios

  • Order–payment–invoice chain: The customer completes payment with 3D Secure verification, the order becomes "paid", lands in the ERP with a collection record, and an e-archive invoice (e-Arşiv, the Turkish electronic invoice for consumers) is issued.
  • Refunds: Customer service approves the refund in the panel; the amount is sent back to the card through iyzico and a refund record is created in the ERP. It is all managed from a single screen.
  • Reconciliation: The amounts iyzico pays out to your account are compared with orders, and commissions and fees are broken out. Our approach: virtual POS and bank reconciliation.

iyzico with IMFLEXI

Our IMFLEXI e-commerce platform comes with payment and shipping integrations built in; iyzico is one of them. Details: IMFLEXI payments and shipping. If you use another platform or custom software, we connect iyzico to your existing system.

iyzico or a bank virtual POS?

They answer different needs. iyzico offers a quick start and the convenience of a single contract; a bank virtual POS can offer cost advantages at high volume and a direct relationship with the bank. Many companies use both. We compare them in the article choosing a payment platform; because rates are negotiated individually, we do not comment on pricing, but we work out together the questions you need to answer to decide.

How do we work?

  1. Analysis: We discuss your sales model, installment needs, refund process and ERP.
  2. Mapping: Order statuses, payment results, refund types and accounting accounts are mapped.
  3. Test environment: All scenarios are tried in iyzico's test environment with test cards: successful payment, decline, abandoned payment, refund.
  4. Go-live: It is switched on with live keys, and the first payments are checked together.
  5. Monitoring: Every payment request and result is logged. Payments whose result never reached the site are queried and completed; no collection is left "hanging".

What to prepare before we start

  • Your iyzico merchant account and panel access
  • The installment options you want to offer
  • Your refund policy and who approves refunds
  • Which account in the ERP collections should be tracked under
  • Any other payment methods to be used alongside it

With this information we write the test scenarios around your sales model.

Security and KVKK

Card details never pass through your site or our server; they are entered on iyzico's secure payment screen. That way most of the responsibility for card data stays with the payment institution. API keys are kept in a restricted configuration, not in the code. We limit the buyer information shared for payment to what is necessary and describe data sharing with the payment institution correctly in the privacy notice. The requirements of KVKK (Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law) are met in full, at no extra charge.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need a separate contract with a bank to work with iyzico?

No. The contract is with iyzico; iyzico accepts card payments on its own infrastructure.

Are card details stored on our site?

No. Card details are entered on iyzico's secure screen and never reach your site or our server.

Do we need to close our existing virtual POS?

No. You can use both methods together and, for example, set rules for which one kicks in for certain cards or amounts.

How do you prevent cases where payment was received but no order was created?

If the payment result does not reach the site, the integration queries iyzico and completes the order. Because every step is logged, the situation can also be traced later.
