Data Subject Request

If your personal data is processed by Globya Bilgi Teknolojileri ("Globya"), you can apply to us free of charge to exercise your rights under Article 11 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (the "Law"). This page explains how to apply, what your application must contain and what happens next. You can find how your data is processed in our Privacy Notice.

1. Your rights

• to learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, to request information about it,
• to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in line with that purpose,
• to know the third parties to whom it is transferred in Türkiye or abroad,
• to request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate,
• to request deletion or destruction under the conditions in Article 7 of the Law,
• to request that correction, deletion or destruction be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred,
• to object to a result against you arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems,
• to claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

2. What your application must contain

Under Article 5 of the Communiqué, your application must include:

• your full name and, if the application is in writing, your signature,
• for citizens of Türkiye, the T.C. identity number; for foreigners, nationality, passport number or identity number if any,
• your residential or business address for notifications,
• if any, your email address, phone and fax number for notifications,
• the subject of your request (which right you exercise, for which data) and, if any, related information and documents.

If you apply on behalf of someone else, you must attach a document proving your authority, such as a notarized power of attorney or a guardianship document. Stating your relationship with Globya (customer, job applicant, form/chat user, supplier, etc.) and how we can reach you helps us apply your request to the right person and records more quickly.

3. How to apply

1. In writing: You can hand-deliver the form below, or a wet-signed letter containing the same information, or send it by registered mail with return receipt or through a notary. Please write "Information Request under the Personal Data Protection Law" on the envelope.
2. By email: From the email address you previously gave Globya and that is registered in our systems, send your application to info@globya.com.tr with "KVKK Request" in the subject line.
3. With an electronic signature: You can send your application signed with a secure electronic signature or mobile signature to info@globya.com.tr.

4. Process, timeline and fees

• Your application will be concluded within 30 days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request, and the reply will be sent to you in writing or electronically.
• Applying is free of charge. If the reply exceeds 10 pages or is provided on a recording medium such as a CD or flash drive, a fee may be charged only up to the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board in the Communiqué.
• To avoid disclosing your personal data to someone else, we may need to verify your identity and may ask you for additional information.
• If your application is rejected, you find the reply insufficient, or no reply is given in time, you may file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Board under Article 14 of the Law within 30 days of learning of the reply and in any case within 60 days of the application date.
