What is Emreyakut.com?

Emreyakut.com is the personal website of Emre Yakut, one of Globya's co-founders. Its core line is "I simplify complexity before technology touches it." The topics are enterprise architecture, systems thinking and digital transformation. Emre Yakut founded Globya in Ankara in 2000 together with Halit Yeşil.

You can explore the site at emreyakut.com.

Starting point

Personal websites often end up as a web version of a résumé: titles, years, lists of tools. Emreyakut.com deliberately takes another route and describes a way of thinking. The order is spelled out on the site: business first, then systems, then processes, then data — technology comes last. The design serves this idea too. Rather than reading a list, the visitor follows an approach step by step.

What's on the site?

The site is a single page split into two modes.

  • Professional mode: Approach, Trajectory (a career line running from understanding operations to cross-country standardization), Architecture (12 capability areas such as business systems, enterprise integration, data architecture, governance, IoT and metering), Reliability, Transformation, Leverage (a view on AI), Architectural Principles, Current Focus and Recent Thoughts sections.
  • Inside My Mind mode: a more personal, experimental side. An interactive concept map called "Mind Builder" (search across more than 550 concepts, add your own idea), a simulated live view of the systems being run, an AI working flow and a music section.
  • A groovebox that runs in the browser: in the music section, a small rhythm machine built on Web Audio with no plug-ins. Visitors can build patterns and tweak the sounds themselves.
  • Turkish and English: switch languages on the same page with a language button.
  • Contact via a link to his LinkedIn profile.

Key solutions

Content that explains an approach

Instead of piling up technical terms, the text moves forward with short, clear principles: "Integrate. Never duplicate.", "Build for ten years. Not for the show.", "Understand first. Then optimize." Each section carries a single idea; by the end of the page, the visitor has learned not what the person does, but how he thinks.

Two modes, two audiences

Corporate readers see a clean, orderly narrative in Professional mode. Curious visitors meet interactive experiences in Inside My Mind mode. Presenting the same person at two different depths is far more memorable than a single flat page.

Ready for search engines and AI

The page carries Person, WebSite and ProfilePage schema. The Person schema holds areas of expertise, location, organization and the fact that he is a co-founder of Globya as structured data. The site has an llms.txt file for AI tools, and robots.txt explicitly allows search engines and AI crawlers. In short, the site is built to be described correctly not only on Google but in AI answers too. We explain our approach to this on our SEO and GEO page.

What we learned from this project

  • A personal website is a story, not a list. Explaining a point of view instead of listing titles stays with the reader much longer.
  • Different depth for different visitors. Offering the same content in a simple layer and a detailed layer keeps both the quick reader and the curious one.
  • AI is a reader too. Structured data and llms.txt help a person or a company be introduced correctly in AI answers.

The "understand the business first, leave technology for last" approach Emre Yakut describes on his site also sums up the path Globya follows in client projects. What does a personal profile website add to a company?

Clearly showing how a founder or executive thinks supports trust in the company. A well-structured personal website also helps that person be introduced correctly in search engines and AI answers.

Can I have a similar personal or executive website built?

Yes. We plan the content structure, design and technical setup together; scope and pricing follow a written proposal after the discovery call. You can reach us through the contact page or at +90 850 432 55 13.
