Who is KumandaCenter?
KumandaCenter is the online store of Deste Elektronik, based in the İvedik Organized Industrial Zone in Ankara. It sells remote controls for everything from TVs and projectors to sound systems and satellite receivers, along with HDMI and audio cables, adapters, network accessories, security and electrical products. It ships across Türkiye and also sells on Trendyol.
You can browse the store at kumandacenter.com. It runs on IMFLEXI, Globya's boutique e-commerce platform.
The need — finding the right remote
Buying a remote is harder than it looks. The same brand has dozens of models, each with its own remote; customers usually know the brand but not which remote will fit. A customer who buys the wrong one loses money and time, and the store carries the returns and exchanges.
The store needed to take visitors from the one concrete piece of information they have — the code on the back of the remote or the device's model number — to the right product, across a catalog of thousands of constantly changing items.
What's on the site?
- Find your remote: a search box at the center of the home page for a remote code or device model, with optional device type (sound system, TV, projector, DVD, air conditioner, satellite) and brand.
- Browse by device and brand: separate entry cards for sound systems, TVs and projectors; direct links from brands like LG, Pioneer, Yamaha, Sony, Samsung and Epson to compatible models.
- The right remote in three steps: find the code, type it in, order. Compatibility can also be checked on the product page.
- A large catalog: 1,120 products live — remotes, video and audio connectivity, networking and computing, security and smart home, electrical and power, measuring and hand tools.
- Product cards: "Ships today", stock status and low-stock notes such as "Last 3".
- Fit guarantee: free exchange if it doesn't fit, 14-day returns, 3D Secure payment.
- Corporate and bulk sales page: technical services, hotels, schools and meeting rooms can request a quote with a model list.
- Quick questions via WhatsApp, FAQ, distance sales and KVKK (Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law) texts.
Key solutions
A finder, not a search box
The box on the home page is not an ordinary product search: it weighs the remote code, device model, device type and brand together and lists compatible models. Right below it, the site explains where to find the code ("on the back of the remote or in the battery compartment"). Even non-technical customers reach the right product in one step.
Putting the guarantee up front
The "free exchange if it doesn't fit" promise appears in the top bar, under the finder and on the product page. Compatibility is the real barrier to buying this product; making the guarantee visible removes it.
From individual to corporate
Hotel room TVs, school projectors, the daily needs of technical services: the corporate and bulk sales page turns a store that sells remotes one by one into a bulk supplier as well.
Structure for search engines
Product and category URLs are readable (product URLs include the model name). The site has Organization, OnlineStore and WebSite structured data with on-site search defined, which helps findability when people search by model code.
Cookie choice and KVKK
On arrival, "Reject all", "Settings" and "Accept all" are offered together; non-essential cookies run only with consent. The privacy notice and cookie policy sit in the footer.

What we learned from this project
- Start from what the customer has in hand. For a remote, that's the code on the back; when search starts from that code, the right product is found.
- A guarantee is the cure for compatibility worries. Showing "we'll exchange it if it doesn't fit" at every step makes the buying decision easier.
- Small product, large catalog. Across thousands of similar items, a tidy category structure and readable URLs lead both customers and search engines to the right place.
