The hidden burden of multichannel selling
Imagine you sell a product on three channels. When only two units are left in the warehouse and that isn't entered by hand into three separate panels, the same product sells on two different channels and someone ends up writing an apology email to a customer. The same happens with price changes: one channel keeps selling at the old price. As the number of channels grows, this work takes up an employee's entire day.
Marketplace integration brings product, stock, price and order data together in one place and pushes it out to every channel at once — whether that is your own store or Turkish marketplaces such as Trendyol and Hepsiburada.
What does the integration cover?
| Area | What happens |
|---|---|
| Product listing | Product data, images and attributes are mapped to the marketplace's category structure and sent |
| Stock sync | When a sale happens on any channel, stock goes down on all channels |
| Price management | Different prices or commission-based markup rules can be applied per channel |
| Order collection | Orders from all channels appear in a single list, in a single format |
| Shipping and invoicing | A shipment record and e-invoice are automatically attached to the order |
| Returns and cancellations | Return status on the marketplace is reflected in the central system and in stock |
What we pay attention to during setup
- Category and attribute mapping: Every marketplace has its own category tree and required attributes. Once this mapping is done right, adding new products becomes easy.
- Safety stock: To avoid double sales between sync intervals, a small safety buffer can be kept for each channel.
- Source of truth: Is stock kept in the ERP or in the e-commerce platform? A single source of truth is chosen.
- Channel rules: Settings are adjusted to each marketplace's rules on shipping times, returns and content.
- Error tracking: Rejected products and orders that fail to transfer are reported instead of quietly disappearing.
With IMFLEXI or your current platform
IMFLEXI, Globya's boutique e-commerce platform, comes with marketplace, payment, shipping and ERP integrations built in, and manages multiple stores as well as B2B and B2C in the same structure. If you use another e-commerce platform, we keep your existing system and build the integration on top of it. If you are thinking of renewing your site, our e-commerce services handle both jobs together.
Checklist before you start
- Which marketplaces do you have stores on, and which are you planning to open?
- Your number of products and your variant structure (size, color, dimensions)
- Where is stock data kept today?
- Do you use different prices per channel?
- Who processes orders, and on which screen?
Frequently asked questions
Will I lose my existing marketplace listings?
No. Existing listings are matched and linked to the integration; there is no need to create them again.
How often is stock updated?
It is set according to the frequency the marketplace allows and your order volume. For fast-selling products, it is combined with a safety stock.
